Conficting Firewalls

Please ensure that port 80 in any firewall installed on the computer is open, meaning allowing incomig connections on port 80, which is required for IIS (Internet Information Services)

NOTE! Make sure you DONT use more than one firewall software.

NOTE! Check that your antivirus software does not contain firewall functionality if this fails.

If using Windows Firewall, do the following:

1. Start -> Control Panel -> Windows Firewall
2. Make sure "Do not allow exceptions" is NOT checked
3. Click on the Exceptions Tab
4. Click 'Add Port' under the listing of exceptions
5. In the dialog window enter:
   1. Name: IIS
   2. Port: 80
   3. Make sure TCP is selected (not UDP)
6. Click OK to close the Add Port window
7. Click OK to close the Windows Firewall window
