Status
This page shows the current live status of the EpiHandy Server. If this shows NOT KNOWN with i.e. a message like "CONNECTION ERROR: SQL Server does not exist of access denied", then it means that the server is probably not running, or the connection settings are not correct.
First step is to ensure that the settings in the Settings window is correct. You may also click Reset to restore default settings.
Next, try to start the SQL server by clicking on Start SQL Server
If the server still does not start, then please refer to EpiHandy Server Not Running
Startup
The EpiHandy Server requires a local windows account with Administrative priviledges to run properly with the data synchronizations features used.
This page allows for reapplying these settings.
The automatically created account episervice is given an automatically created strong password only used during setup or through this page. It is not stored anywhere in the system (except in native windows service settings, which are not available to users).
By pressing Apply SQL Server Startup settings you ensure that the server starts correctly if i.e. the episervice account is removed or you want to use your own username/passwords.
Administrator
Allows you to to increase security by replacing default database passwords on the system.
NOTE! Any changes here, require that username and password for connection settings in EpiHandy MobileClient are updated to reflect these changes. Failure to do that will cause the data synchronization features to fail.
Users
Allows for recovery if passwords to Administrative accounts are lost. See further under: EpiHandy_SM_Login
Server
This page is obsolete
Maintenance
Allows for reapplying replication setup of the EpiHandy Server. This functionality should only be used if directly instructed to do so by the EpiHandy support team.
